Dear Parents,
The work assigned below is just a guide and is by no means an expectation. This work is a continuation of work for core subjects over the next few weeks. As little or as much can be completed by the boys.
While I know much of you will be working from home, this should be seen to help occupy some time for the boys while school closures are imposed.
I have also attached online resources for children with Special Educational Needs from the NCSE. They have some really good tips for your child’s Speech and Language/ Occupational Therapy that you may find useful, again at your own discretion. You will find your child’s class level and a link to resources under TOP TIPS! For Primary School Age Children. See link below

Be sure to get in touch if you need to collect books or need access to their books online. I know Folens have granted access to their ebooks- which is the publishing company for Planet Maths and Starlight. See below

Reading
All boys continue to read assigned reading programme. (Read at home or Oxford Tree Reading Programme)
Try where possible to read for leisure via library links, books at home for 10 minutes a day.
Lego Challenge
All boys encouraged to build/create some LEGO challenges. Take pictures and email them to me so we can share all your creativity when we get back to school.

Art
All boys draw or create a 10 minutes Art exercise. Practice your colouring/sketching skills.
Diary
This school closure and our time apart will be part of history someday. I’d encourage all the boys to complete a small diary, much like our ‘weather diary’ to document how they spent their day ‘distancing’/‘isolating’.
Like our time capsules at the beginning of the year boys, your diary will be an artefact and when all this is over and when you are all grown up, you will have a first-hand account of how you and your family kept safe from Covid-19!
I’m looking forward to seeing you all someday soon when we can all learn together again. Make sure to help around the house and be kind.
